Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب الحج باب ما جاء فى الصلاة فى الحجر

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِى عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَدْخُلَ الْبَيْتَ فَأُصَلِّىَ فِيهِ فَأَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِى فَأَدْخَلَنِى الْحِجْرَ فَقَالَ صَلِّى فِى الْحِجْرِ إِنْ أَرَدْتِ دُخُولَ الْبَيْتِ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ قِطْعَةٌ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَلَكِنَّ قَوْمَكِ اسْتَقْصَرُوهُ حِينَ بَنَوُا الْكَعْبَةَ فَأَخْرَجُوهُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ. وَعَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ أَبِى عَلْقَمَةَ هُوَ عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ.
'Ā'ishah said, "I wanted to enter the House (i.e. the Ka’bah [1]) and pray in there; so the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, took me by the hand and led me into to the enclosure [2] and said, 'Pray in the enclosure if you wish to enter the House; for it is part of the House, but your people reduced it (in size) [3] when they built the Ka’bah and thus took it out of the House.'"
